Female alaskan malamute needs new home in Orkney, Orkney Islands for sale

We are looking for a loving home for our beautiful girl Freya. She is an absolutely stunning six year old wolf grey Alaskan Malamute but sadly we cannot keep her any longer. She started to not get along with our other two dogs and after they fought we began keeping her separate for the safety of all three. However this means she is alone and not able to spend as much time with us as she wants and deserves, which has caused her to be noisier than normal resulting in complaints. Freya was then attacked by a small dog and is anxious whenever she sees other dogs. We took her to a behaviourist who helped us to work on her training and attitude but there is still a lot of work to be done in this area. Other than her attitude to other dogs you could not ask for a more loving and loyal dog. Freya is very smart and learns quickly. she enjoys walking especially on beaches/in woodland, she also likes digging in fields, but loves nothing more than curling up with people around her (especially if you rub her belly for her) As devastating as it is for us to have to rehome her we feel she would be much happier where someone can devote all their attention to her and treat her like a princess. With this in mind we are looking for an experienced home with no other dogs (she has lived with cats since she was 10 weeks old so they would likely be fine) and ideally where someone can dedicate plenty of time to working on her insecurities. She will reward any time dedicated to her with affection and endless fun. She has been neutered and is up to date with inoculations (booster due in february) and flea/worming treatments. Interested parties will be vetted and we will not let her go unless we are 100% sure it's right, her future happiness is too important to us. We are not looking to make any money from finding her a new home, but to make sure she finds a proper second chance we will not be homing her until the new year and will be asking for a donation of £50 to our chosen dog charity.
